Smith Creek Cycle and Elevation Outdoors have teamed up in hopes of getting more butts on bikes. Anytime between September 1st and November 30th stop by 2440 Main St in West Kelowna to donate an old kid’s bike. Our team will repair the bikes and find them new homes just in time for Christmas day. All bikes will be donated to families who apply online here --> Application Form
The goal of the program is to get as many kids on bikes as possible! There are countless families out there with extra kids bikes kicking around that could be put to good use. It’s just a question of how we as organizations could help do it. So now anytime Smith Creek Cycle is open feel free to drop off your old kids bikes. The bikes will be tuned up and given to a child in need for Christmas. Bikes that can’t be repaired will be used for parts or recycled.
As a bike shop we typically refer families that can’t afford bikes to programs such as Elevation Outdoors. Unfortunately, not everyone can get into a program. (Timing, child’s age, program is full, etc.) Hopefully this program can allow more kids to have their own bikes at home, to have their own sense of freedom that will help them get outside and enjoy something they wouldn’t otherwise be able to experience.

Smith Creek Cycle is West Kelowna’s “Family owned; rider operated” bike shop. We opened October 1, 2020, with a focus on service, community and a focus of getting more butts on bikes. We primarily focus on mountain bikes, ebikes, and gravel bikes and work predominantly with smaller bike brands.

Elevation's mission is to enhance the lives of underprivileged youth via participation in specially designed outdoor sports programs; and to help youth develop lasting passion for these sports while drawing parallels to life through the experience and learning life skills along the way.
All programs are to be offered to eligible youth free of charge as Elevation Outdoors believes that no young person should be denied the potential to discover an outdoor sport or pursuit that can help keep him or her motivated, healthy, and happy in life!
Elevation facilitates programs through the spring, summer and winter months.

Our web store is not inclusive of all the products we carry, and our online pricing in some cases is higher than our in store pricing. In addition we do not share all of our inventory with the online store, if you need something locally you can't find online give us a call!
